IPL 9: We Are a Balanced Side Now, Says Sunrisers Hyderabad Skipper David Warner

Hyderabad: All praise for both his batsmen and bowlers, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner said the side has achieved balance midway into the tournament and would look to continue being consistent in the coming matches.
Hyderabad defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 15 runs last night at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket stadium here.
"It's always good to score runs. I am just proud of the way the boys have approached with the bat. Obviously, it's very handy to have a player of Kane Williamson's class to come in and help you knock around. Credit to the guys for actually getting us to that point and obviously the bowlers who ensured the job," he said in the post-match press conference.
Warner's scintillating 92 runs helped SRH to post a challenging total of 194/5.
"It's a massive game for us to win," he said, pointing to the presence of world-class batsmen like AB de Villiers in the RCB ranks.

Warner was all praise for Williamson, who made his first appearance for SRH last night after recovering from his injury. Williamson made 50 runs in 38 balls to steer the SRH innings.
"...his game was fantastic. For the rest of the tournament, it gives us nice balance and hopefully, we can keep producing performances and partnerships for the rest of the games," he said.
The captain was also appreciative of other batsmen, including Henriques, Eoin Morgan, Deepak Hooda and Naman Ojha, and hoped that SRH middle order would produce more impressive performances in the matches to come.
Replying to a query on the animated celebration of his dismissal by RCB's bowler (Tabraiz Shamsi), Warner said he would not approve if someone in his team does that.
"I was looking at Virat Kohli (RCB captain), I don't think he was too impressed until he (Shamsi) got a bit closer.
I think it's a bit hard for a captain to stand there and not go the motions. In my team, if someone does that at 150 off 15 overs, I wouldn't accept that at all. It's a bit fancy, to be honest."
