Few facts which you need to know about Steven Finn
Steven Thomas Finn was born in the year 1989 and is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast bowler. At the age of 16 he became Middlesex County Cricket Club’s youngest-ever debutant in first-class cricket. He made his England Test debut in 2010 againstBangladesh.
Finn had a frequent habit of knocking over the non-striker’s stumps with his knee during his delivery.In 2013, Finn changed his run-up to correct the problem; and, the ICC introduced a new law to declare the delivery as a no ball, rather than a dead ball, if the non-striker’s wicket is broken in the act of delivery – a regulation now commonly known as “Finn’s Law”.
His fastest delivery was clocked at 151.9 km/h, with stamina and height which allowed him to consistently bowl at over 145 km/h, making him the 10th fastest active bowler as of January 3, 2015.
In February and March 2010, he was part of the England Lions team to tour the UAE, earning selection with a solid 2009 season of 53 wickets at 30.64. He impressed the selectors, and was short-listed for the 2009 World Twenty-20 though was not picked for the final team.
He made his first-class debut for Middlesex on 1 June 2005, playing against Cambridge UCCE atFenner’s.He took 1 wicket for 16 runs (1/16) and 1/37 and did not bat. He became Middlesex’s youngest debutant, beating the record set by 16-year-old Fred Titmus in 1949.
Finn was selected in the 15 man squad for the 2015 Cricket World Cup which was to be held in Australia and New Zealand, making it Finn’s first 50 over World Cup. In his world cup debut against Australia, Finn took a hat trick thus becoming the first England player to take a hat trick in a World Cup match.
Finn’s best bowling performance in tests was against Australia in the year 2015 in Edgbaston,wher he ended up his figures of 6/79 on 30th July.

Tests: He had played 29 test matches and had scored 190 runs with a batting average of 11.17 which includes 1 half century with a top score of 56.He had also picked up 113 wickets with an average of about 28.34 which includes 5 five wickets haul with best figures of 6/79 against Australia.
Odi: He had played 65 Odi matches and picked up 98 wickets with an average of about 28.96 which includes 2 five wickets haul.
First Class: He had played 119 FC matches and picked up 445 wickets with an average of about 27.93 which includes 12 five wickets hauls and a single ten wickets haul.
